Her agent had also mentioned that the actress would personally serve popcorn to customers during the grand opening. This news was hard to believe for many people, but hundreds of curious fans gathered in the street and stood in lines for hours to catch a glimpse of the “Match Point” heroine. The boutique, named Yummy Pop, was supposed to close at around 8 pm, but to everyone’s surprise, Scarlett Johansson arrived around 9:30 pm to serve the most perseverant fans. Those who stayed received autographs and got to take selfies with the actress, who was wearing a striped shirt, perhaps adopting the French look, and a Yummy Pop branded apron. Her French husband, Romain Dauriac, was also behind the counter with her. She enjoyed playing the role of a hostess for a few hours, providing huge publicity for Yummy Pop.
