Katy Perry is fully embracing her Sexy-style era with her latest fashion choices. From her sheer silicone dress in her music video to her leather corset at the CMAs, Perry is continuing her dark and sultry streak for her upcoming performance on “Saturday Night Live.” The singer, who hasn’t been on the show since 2017, recently posed for photos in a daring black Mugler catsuit on set. She will be performing on Jan. 29 with first-time host Willem Dafoe.
Perry has been a devoted admirer of Thierry Mugler for quite some time, and was saddened by the news of the designer’s passing at the age of 73. To pay homage to Mugler, she donned a striking gothic catsuit that was styled by Tatiana Waterford. The outfit featured skin-tight fabric with cutouts in the shape of triangles, as well as Mugler’s signature corseted bodice. Completing the look was a long, flowing black wig and pointed stilettos, along with black-diamond earrings from Vhernier. It’s possible that Perry drew inspiration from Morticia Addams for this bold ensemble. Scroll down to take a closer look at this daring catsuit.
