Despite the rain, Jennifer Lopez braved the weather to demonstrate her backing for Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton at a crowded free concert in Miami’s Bayfront Park on Saturday night.
Lopez took the stage in a vibrant white and red outfit, complete with a flag-themed belt representing the United States. Her setlist featured hits like “Waiting for Tonight,” “Get Right,” “Love Makes the World Round,” and “Let’s Get Loud.” Before concluding her performance, Lopez expressed her support for Hillary Clinton, urging the audience to choose the right path for the future.
Clinton then joined Lopez on stage to thank her and Anthony for their support, also using the opportunity to criticize Trump for spreading fear. Throughout the one-hour show, inspirational speeches by John F. Kennedy, Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, and Hillary Clinton were shown on screens, focusing on issues important to the Latino community and women’s rights.
Here are some of the memorable moments from the event:
I want to express my gratitude to all the amazing people of Florida who came out tonight. It was such a fantastic experience!
