She released her first studio album in 2008, which was recorded over a period of five weeks at Dockside Studios located in Maurice, Louisiana. According to Just Jared, the album will be released on vinyl during the Black Friday 2023 event organized by Record Store Day. The new version of the album will come in a single-pocket jacket and feature a green color vinyl with a printed insert. Fans who want to purchase the album can do so on November 24.

According to the announcement made by Record Store Day, the album titled Anywhere I Lay My Head is now available in a limited quantity of only 2,000 copies. This exclusive release features guest appearances by David Bowie. This album pays tribute to Tom Waits and comprises six covers of songs written by the singer and his wife Kathleen Brennan. Additionally, it also includes an original song called Song for Jo.

Upon its debut, the song Falling Down was released as the primary track.
